Physical Description: Malakai isn't really the best looking Awoken around, but he certainly isn't the worst. His skin is a light blue, a shade a ultramarine, and is scarred in varying places, the most being on his back. His right hand is completely robotic and is a brilliant shade of silver, surprisingly blending with his skin tone nicely. He's taller and broader than both of his "siblings", but don't let that fool you, Valentina is still the strongest.

Eternally Tired - Malakai is surprisingly done with everything. Most likely if you look up Tired in the dictionary, you'll see his face staring back at you.
Depressed - As stated before, all Malakai wants to do is just sleep, but he wants the kind of sleep one doesn't wake up from. He'll put on fake smiles and laugh at people's jokes, but those who really know him, know that he is actually very upset. Small things like fireworks and sudden noises will send him into a panic attack, and at times he wishes it would just end.
Protective - For the amount of shit he takes from Daiex, he still loves his younger "brother" with every fiber of his body. This is the same for Valentina. In all honesty, if those two weren't around, Malakai would have ended it. Those two are the only people keeping him grounded and if someone disrespects them, they'll have an angry Malakai to deal with. After they deal with Daiex most likely.
Thick Skinned - It's hard to get under Malakai's skin, seeing at he's had many years dealing with Daiex. Nothing really fazes this Awoken and if something does, it's probably something big.

From the moment Malakai was resurrected, you could see in his eyes that he was going to be in for a rough time. Just like all guardians, he doesn't remember his past life, but that didn't bother him, seeing as he knew he wasn't the only one.
Making his way to the city, Malakai went under the training of Cayde-6 and found that he excelled at the Golden Gun class. All was going well with the Taken Wars, and because of that he learned the Nightstalker and Arcblade class, but stuck with his golden gun.
It was on a strike at the Black Garden that things went south. He was paired with two other Awoken, a Titan named Valentina and yet another hunter named Daiex. Valentina seemed to have the titan affinity of punching things until they blew up, and Daiex was quite possibly the scariest arc wielder he has seen.
While he was fighting with the two, an enemy got the better of him and took his hand. While he was busy yelling about his hand, Daiex murdered the boss and they were taken back to the tower, while Valentina just about adopted them, Malakai accepted this change happily.
